Space: The Summer Frontier!

Open to all children from ages 2 through 12

AM Care: 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
Half Day: 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Camp Day: 8:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Extended Day: 8:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Learning doesn’t have to stop just because it’s the summer! Join us for a summer filled of fun, exploration, and discovery with our fantastic staff!

This summer, it’s all about Outer Space! Our inventive teaching staff will guide students through exciting projects, lessons, and games. We will explore the science of Earth, the Solar System, and the Universe. We will engage in hands-on engineering that encourages curiosity and innovation and have fun with numbers and math. Students will also enjoy weekly arts & crafts and cooking projects. We will take the learning outdoors with nature studies, sports, and games. Each week, we will also enjoy water play. The older students (entering 1st grade and older) will go to the pool twice a week beginning mid-June.

We invite students from age 2 through 12 to spend the summer exploring outer space with us! From the very youngest to the oldest, we will light the spark of discovery, creativity, and imagination.

Students may attend one, several, or all weeks of camp.

Participants will be grouped by age:
2-3 year olds
3-5 year olds
6+ (entering first grade and older)
Participants will grouped together or organized into smaller classes as appropriate to the activity. The youngest group (2-3 year olds) will have their own classroom and projects, and will join the other groups for selected activities. The oldest group (students entering 1st grade and up) will go to the neighborhood pool twice a week, starting mid-June. Students not currently attending Redwood Montessori must provide a current Health Inventory with vaccination history.

2019 Summer Camp Fees

PART-TIME DISCOUNT: For 3 days a week, deduct 10%. (For 2-3 year olds only.)
SIBLING DISCOUNT: After the first child, take 10% off the total camp fees for each sibling. The discount will apply to the child(ren) with the lower fees.

Payment Deadlines:

Registration form with $200 deposit–Mar. 29

Balance due:
1st half payment - April 30 *plus all required paperwork*
2nd half payment (less deposit) - June 3

Weekly pool fees will also apply for the older group (entering 1st grade and up) and will be collected at the beginning of camp.
All payments are nonrefundable. There are no credits, discounts, or refunds for absences, withdrawals, holidays, or emergency closures. Late payments are subject to a late fee.

Note: For students who do not attend Redwood Montessori Academy, a Health Inventory and Emergency Form must be submitted before the child can attend the camp. Copies of health forms already filed at the child’s regular school or daycare may be acceptable, if the information is current (within the past 9 months) and meets state requirements.
